Welcome to Chip Prince's Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Please support me by making a donation here to AIDS Walk New York.
I am marching as a proud member of Team #1301, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, a large number of men and women who are committed to making music and making a difference. We support the mission of GMHC, which has provided and funded services for people with HIV and AIDS ever since 1982, back when little or nothing was known about the new "gay cancer" or its underlying cause.
Now, 35 years later, we know much more about HIV but still need to educate the public about prevention and proper treatment, not to mention battling the stigma that prevails. Your donation, however large or small, will help in this battle.
I hardly need mention that this year the uncertainty surrounding health care funding makes private donations more important than ever. Please be as generous as you are able!
I welcome suggestions as to what to wear while marching; I do like to dress up. Past outfits have included a Scottish kilt and a ballet leotard complete with tutu. I reserve the final decision, however. (After all, it's got to fit, be somewhat practical for a 10K walk (no, no stilettos), and above all be FABULOUS!)
