New York City Gay Men's Chorus - 1301

Thank you for visiting our team page! We are the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, and we are proud to be participating again this year in AIDS Walk NY.

Since the very first walk in 1986, our members have been ardent supporters of this massive fundraiser for GMHC -- the world’s first and leading provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy.

The HIV-AIDS crisis is not over -- particularly for the very population served by GMHC. The organization provides testing, counseling, education, legal services, hot meals and so much more to the over 12,000 clients that it sees each year.

Last year, NYCGMC members raised over $80K for AIDS Walk NY. This year, we hope to smash that goal, and you can make it happen! Please click the big red DONATE box to the upper right and make your tax-deductible donation to AIDS Walk NY!

Oh, and we'll be singing for the other Gold Star teams just before the Walk kicks off. So if you're among them, we'll see you there!

New York City Gay Men’s Chorus is a world-class, world-renowned New York institution and a pioneering voice for the LGBTQ community.

Founded in 1980, NYCGMC has formed a strong bond with devoted followers and continues to make lasting connections with new and diverse audiences. We sing in every style from classical to pop, Broadway to gospel, and from cultures all over the world.

As artists, we listen to the changing world around us and transform what we hear into music. We sing to challenge perceptions of the LGBTQ community, to combat fear and hatred, encourage compassion and human connection, and to thrill with the superb quality of our sound. Through our music, audiences mourn losses, cheer victories, find unconditional acceptance, and celebrate life. For more information, please visit
